An in-progress SketchUp model of the boardwalk I'm creating for the Barnwood Park redesign submission at the end of my first year of the conversion masters.
This is a gravity assisted design, not relying upon the shear strength of bolts or timber slots, with each element carefully integrated into the next. The cut pile ends, to which the uprights are attached, support the beams, the beams support the bearers, and the bearers support the boards.
Try saying that five times quickly.
Once completed, I will export to CAD for annotation, which will then make up part of my AD5604 submission.
