A couple of quick sketches and views of some ideas I have had for our north place submission.
This idea is for the outdoor performance space. A circular stage with seating / large steps around 75%, providing multiple different angles to view performances from, including multi-coloured seating and a simple stage.
The idea is that I will build up a mound around the sunken amphitheatre, with trees planted around the top to provide noise and wind protection for performers and the audience, while also creating a more intimate atmosphere for all users.
